Welcome to Atypical Pastor's Wife!
Although we are not currently in ministry, the lessons learned over nearly 40 years of ministry, and a graduate degree from the School of Hard Knocks, have brought me to the place I am now. I am thankful. Even though some were hard and a few nearly killed me, I now have a better understanding of my wonderful Lord and a deep compassion for those who are struggling, either as a Christian or one who does not yet know the Lord. The Lord has taught me to soar above and has given me an abiding peace, no matter what is going on around me. I am completely satisfied in Him. I know that He is completely trustworthy and not hindered by my circumstances or my humanness, thus I look to the future and smile!
I'm a "Mimi" to 7 grandchildren, a "Modge" to 4 children, and a wife to a man that I truly respect and adore. I have 2 silly, slobbery dogs who like to druel in my bed, make me laugh, and melt my heart. I am a school secretary by day and a Revive Our Hearts Ambassador by night.
In my spare time, I blog, walk in nature, knit, read, and take every country road I can find. God has put me in a beautiful part of the USA and I love exploring every single corner of it.
