Thanksgiving month starts tomorrow. As I usually do, I am taking the month to express all the things I am thankful for. So every day there will be a new blog expressing thanks for something in my life. I may not have much as far as what some people would consider wealth, well, not in America anyway. It really is all relative because most people in the world would like to have what I have even though Americans would consider it not much. Is that as warped as it sounds? Needless to say, God has blessed me with so many blessings. I especially like the one that money can’t buy-faith, family, peace, health….but wait! I’m getting ahead of myself.
I am also making a collage in my cubie at work. Each day I will hang a photo of something I am thankful for. If I am real industrious, I may post a few of them here. Eventually my co-workers will ask me what is going on and I’ll tell them just how much God has blessed me. It’s just my little way of acknowledging His goodness in my life. Maybe it will distract them from the “she doesn’t celebrate Halloween” stigma that I will wear this week. They can add that to the “she doesn’t drink, smoke, or buy lottery or chance tickets of any kind stigma.” LOL!
